My name is Derek Williamson and I am the founder and Principal Consultant of Hillfoots Consultancy Services. A Chartered Management Accountant by profession, I have over 20 years experience in Financial and Business Management, and considerable expertise in the effective use of I.T. systems to deliver business advantage.

I have worked in both the private and public sectors; in the latter I was responsible for co-ordinating a regional development agency’s multi-million £ participation in an Objective One Funding Scheme, as well as implementing corporate-wide I.T. developments.

Taking a career-break in 1996, I enrolled at one of Europe’s leading Business Schools to read an MBA specialising in Strategic Management. I am committed to on-going learning and need to be constantly stretched and challenged - frankly corporate full-time employment was no longer offering the ‘buzz’ that I sought. Hence the creation of Hillfoots Consultancy Services.
